As one of the most highly credentialed dermatologists in the country, Dr. Lawrence Moy is all these things and more.
After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles’ (UCLA) School of Medicine, he worked with some of the biggest names in the cosmetics industry, including Neutrogena, Almay, MD Formulations and Regenetrol Labs, conducting extensive research and laboratory studies. His pioneering work on the clinical and biomedical benefits of glycolic acid (also referred to as alpha hydroxy acids or AHAs) led to a number of product breakthroughs. He has taught, lectured and consulted around the world and is considered a leading authority on the benefits of alpha hydroxy acids and the science of anti-aging.
Dr. Moy’s extensive background in dermatological research has earned him a designation among his peers as the “dermatologist’s dermatologist.” He is the former Chief of Dermatology at UCLA’s Harbor Medical Center, and is the Medical Director for Regenetrol Labs, all while continuing to run a thriving private practice in Manhattan Beach, California.
Dr. Moy’s overriding passion, however, is spending time in the lab, where he has developed his own line of Skin Care products to benefit not only his patients, but also women everywhere.
